Fire safety is crucial for the well being of an individual and the property. To bring in the practical aspect of ‘Fire Safety ‘ which is a part of the General knowledge session of Prep 2 children, a hands-on activity of ‘extinguishing fire’ was demonstrated.
For this, all the children were taken to the open ground. A ‘Fire’ was started by using rags on a metal sheet. The extinguisher was kept ready to put off the fire. Children were given an explanation of the process and this gave them the practical experience.
