Principal's Message

(Pre-Primary to Grade X)

Hare Krishna!
Warm greetings to our Poornapragna family — students, parents, teachers, and well-wishers.

At Poornaprajna Education Centre, Sadashivnagar, we believe education is more than academic achievement; it is the purposeful nurturing of curious minds, compassionate hearts, and responsible citizens. Guided by our vision of creating lifelong learners who contribute meaningfully to society and our mission to provide inclusive, value-based, and competency-driven education, we are committed to fostering an environment where every child can discover strengths, take intellectual risks, and develop life skills.

Our approach blends strong foundational knowledge with experiential and inquiry-based learning. We encourage students to ask questions, collaborate, and apply learning to real-world problems — building critical thinking, creativity, and resilience. Equally important is our focus on social-emotional learning and character formation: empathy, integrity, respect, and perseverance are integrated across classrooms and co-curricular activities so students grow as confident, ethical individuals.

Teachers at Poornaprajna are facilitators, mentors, and lifelong learners. Through continuous professional development and reflective practice, our staff design meaningful, differentiated learning experiences that meet the diverse needs of our learners. We engage parents as active partners in education, valuing open communication and shared responsibility to support each child’s holistic development.

Sustainability, community service, and cultural awareness are central to our school life. We strive to instill environmental stewardship and social responsibility through community projects, service learning and celebration of our cultural diversity. These experiences expand empathy, civic awareness, and a sense of purpose among students.

As we move ahead this academic year, my hope is that every student will embrace curiosity, take ownership of their learning, and act with kindness and courage. To our dedicated teachers and supportive parents — thank you for your trust and partnership. Together, we will continue to shape confident learners and compassionate leaders who are prepared to meet the challenges of a rapidly changing world.

With warm regards,

Message From Headmistress - Pre-Primary Section

“Today’s children, tomorrow’s Future. Our children of today are leaders for tomorrow” – Cheryle Sally.

The endeavour to nurture great leaders begins at a tender age, even as early as the mother’s womb. A cultured and civilized environment plays a pivotal role in guiding children onto the right path, and following the home, school becomes their first exposure to this vital environment.

With the blessings of our esteemed founder President, HH Sri Vibudheshateertha Swamiji, we, at the Pre-Primary section, take great pride in cultivating such a nurturing environment for our young learners. Our aim is to provide a robust foundation that equips them to navigate and conquer any challenges they may encounter in the years ahead.

The Pre-Primary school plays a pivotal role in shaping a child’s growth and development. It comprises three levels – Nursery, Preparatory 1, and Preparatory 2, during which cognitive, language, and emotional development occur significantly.

Our approach to introducing English and mathematical concepts, general topics, stories, rhymes, indoor and outdoor activities, and the chanting of shlokas is thoughtfully designed to make learning an enjoyable experience.

The introduction of the E-learning concept, which became a necessity during the COVID-19 pandemic, had its unique impact on children. Like many others, online teaching posed challenges for our dedicated teachers. However, they willingly adapted to meet these challenges and provide quality education. This endeavour was significantly bolstered by our Management, which offered unwavering moral and logistical support.

Our Pre-Primary teachers are not only committed and skilled but also patient and compassionate with the children. They strive to create a comfortable and nurturing environment while building strong connections with their young students. Their preparation and dedication to overcoming any challenges are exemplary, reflecting their deep passion for their work, which consistently leads to outstanding outcomes.

We extend our gratitude to all those involved in this educational journey, and we thank you for entrusting your children to us.

Thank You,

E S Anuradha
