Hindi Diwas, also known as National Hindi Day, is celebrated annually on14th September, to commemorate the adoption of Hindi as one of the official languages of India. Students of Primary section celebrated the day by displaying charts that depicted the importance of the day. Students from class IV and V narrated moral stories and recited poems. Students of class VI and VII sang a beautiful song, ‘Hindi hamari shaan’. High school students shared information about poets and writer like, Maithili Sharan Gupt, who is also known as ‘Hindi ke Sthapak’, Bharatendu Harishchandra Goswami. They also recited Dohas written by Tulasi Das and shared the importance of Hindi literature.
