Nature walk – As a part of Club Activity, students of grade 1 were taken on a Nature Walk to a nearby garden. Children observed and experienced fresh atmosphere, chirping of birds, varieties of plants, trees, shrubs, herbs, climbers, varieties of leaves with different shapes and colours, canopy of trees, bamboo plant, ant hill, beetles, cool breeze, rough barks etc. Importance of Nature around us was discussed and the need to preserve it was also highlighted. They were excited to share their experiences in form of activities. Grade I students were drew a tree surrounded by grass and list things that they observed. Outburst of creativity was observed when we received the activity sheets.
